About the course

This program is meant to give absolute beginners the lay of the land. However, at three hours divided into 11 lectures, it does go into some detail. After completing the coursework, you should:

Have an idea of the management and operational structure of the typical hotel.
Understand how each department contributes to the total guest experience.
Know what positions and career paths are available in each department.

Working in the hospitality industry can be very lucrative and rewarding. It’s best, however, not to be automatically enticed by the apparent glamor of working directly with customers. Many other, equally important jobs are available
